Built on how authority moves through systems.
Elevated Context is a product of Cognispace, LLC. Its work starts from one question, asked before an AI model sees your data: of everything this person could reach, what should actually be released for the task in front of them?
Dr. Donnel Hinkins is the chief architect of Elevated Context and directs architecture and platform engineering across the Cognispace technology portfolio.
His background spans information technology, cybersecurity, and higher education. His engineering approach is grounded in systems thinking: finding the invariants that govern information flow, authorization boundaries, and state transitions, and holding them steady even when a system is under pressure to widen access.

Where the work goes
The problems we spend our time on.
The hard parts, where getting the boundary right matters most.
Authority & information-flow modeling
Deciding what context may be released for a task, so retrieval narrows the set but never widens it. Access to information is treated as separate from permission to use it.
Verified identity & least privilege
Identity established through Google and verified by the service, server-resolved tenant isolation, and independent authorization of each action and each result release.
Governed multi-agent runtime
A deterministic boundary in front of AI tool calls and retrieval, so an agent’s output and the actions that follow don’t inherit permission just because an AI produced them.
Careers
Help build the boundary.
As early-access deployments grow, we’re looking for engineers and researchers who care about rigorous access decisions and the governance of autonomous agents. Tell us how you think about authority, information flow, or AI governance.
Engineering — distributed state & authorization engines
Experience with distributed state, low-latency authorization paths, and the kind of multi-tenant systems where a single cross-tenant release is a breach, not a bug ticket.
Research — provenance semantics & formal verification
Background in graph theory, lattice algebra, or programming-language theory applied to how conditions and authority propagate across derivation and information-flow graphs.
Enterprise — architecture & compliance
Experience with DevSecOps teams, regulated enterprise architectures, and the compliance frameworks that govern how data and AI are allowed to meet.
